Energetic and organized person to fill a full-time Facility Technician position to assist in the daily intake and processing of petroleum wastewater as well as general cleaning and site maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the facility.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
• Assist with the intake and offload of bulk liquid waste in vacuum trucks, drums, and portable tanks
• Consolidate drummed waste into dump trailers and storage tanks
• Use appropriate equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and dollies
• Clean and maintain secondary containment areas, warehouse, and facility grounds
• Assist with the use of manual and power equipment to maintain landscaping areas and perform snow removal
• May operate pressure washers, drum grapplers, vacuum trucks and other material handling equipment or trucks
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Operator
• Availability to work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays as required

Candidate must possess the following skills:
• Previous forklift experience a plus
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
• Able to work independently and in a team setting

Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License
